Brief Description

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released a notification for the Main Examination for the posts of Draftsman (Nakshanavis) and Cartographer in the Irrigation & Water Resources Department and the Agriculture Department. This recruitment drive is for a total of 283 posts. A crucial eligibility requirement is that candidates must have appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2022) and have been issued a valid scorecard. Candidates with a zero or negative score in PET-2022 are not eligible to be shortlisted for the main exam.

The age limits vary for each post. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories of Uttar Pradesh as per government rules.

  • For Draftsman & Cartographer (Agri. Dept.): 18 to 40 Years.

  • Certificate in Draftsmanship (Civil) from a recognized institute, OR
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.

Draftsman & Cartographer (Agri. Dept.)

  • Certificate in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute, OR
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized board, OR
  • Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized board.

  5. Fill in the remaining details, agree to the declaration, and proceed to payment.
  6. Pay the online processing fee of ₹25/- to complete the application process.
  7. Take a printout of the final submitted application form.
